There needs to be a code word or something that means “my brain is fighting me every step of the way today and I feel like I’m going to vibrate out of my skin, so I need you to forgive everything and go slowly and speak softly and lower your expectations.” And then we could all just be like, “I know I said we could go to a movie tonight but… tangerines.” And the other person would...

I’m not a huge fan of apologetics, but this article almost brought me to tears. Here are the axioms Christian-turned-atheist-turned-Jesus-Follower, Mike McHargue, came up with to continue to practice his Christianity in an intellectually honest way, even during seasons of extreme doubt. For my friends who wrestle with doubt I highly recommend reading. For those this...

Oh, sweet relief. One of my finals is indeed on Thursday, I just had it mixed up with another one. So I have two finals on Tuesday, and one on Thursday, rather than all three of them on Tuesday. This is such a good thing.
One essay down (albeit probably incoherent and in need of further revision before it gets submitted), two more to go. I’ll probably try to make significant progress on the shorter of the two tonight.

yeah lol I got lost at the probability equation thing, but it did seem really interesting. (also, the revised version did look ‘cleaner’). kudos.
Yeah, most people in class, I think, got stuck on that part. It was a talk that should have taken 60 mins. to do properly and I had 15. However, it ended up being 30 mins. lol But...

Seven Crimes That Will Get You a Smaller Fine than File-Sharing
thinksquad:
Thinking about file-sharing? Don’t. You’ll get fined, and crime doesn’t pay (unless you rob banks and/or armored cars, then it pays very well). Take it from Jammie Thomas, who was fined $2 million for downloading 24 songs, or anyone else who tried to fight the RIAA.
Instead, try another crime, because...
