I’m going to be upset if the release date for the paperback of The Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology gets pushed back one more time. Why are you doing this to me?? (I can’t actually buy it at the moment, anyway, but still).

rae-elizabeth: I forgot to cancel my netflix account before the free trial ended and I was charged for another month.  First world problems. But honestly that sucks. Maybe they have a good policy about it, like Amazon did with my Prime free trial that I ended up having them revoke the charges for because I did the same thing.

I feel really awful. I shouldn’t have enrolled myself in four upper division philosophy courses in one semester, especially since I’ve never taken even one upper division philosophy course before. I’ve caved on only the first of four papers for my Knowledge & Understanding class. I just emailed my professor asking him if I should drop it. On the first day he said it would...

Pro-Life Apologetics Materials

I would recommend the book, but you can find all of its contents for free online: Some short articles from Scott Klusendorf’s website “Life Training Institute.” Here is a pdf titled “Advanced Pro-Life Apologetics” by Klusendorf that covers all the same topics as the...

Confessions of a functional atheist - Mark... →
One of the accusations against Christians is that we have a psychological need to believe a fantasy. In other words, the atheist thinks that we make up a belief in God to provide comfort against the unknown. Our belief in God is like whistling as we pass through the graveyard.
